Once upon a time, there was a child from the Netherlands named Klaas van Bommel. He was only twelve years old. Even though he is still small, his appetite is very large, especially when he eats cheese, because Klaas really likes cheese. When Klaas had eaten cheese, he always asked for more and was never satisfied eating cheese. He always asks again and again until he consumes the cheese for the day at his house. Klaas’ mother was astonished at her child’s appetite.
One day, Klaas was hungrily eating cheese and again he was never satisfied. “Mah … I’m asking for more cheese,” Klaas said to his mother. “No, no! You have eaten a lot of cheese today, you have used up the cupboards, “said his mother. His mother deliberately lied to Klaas so Klaas stopped eating cheese because he had eaten a lot today.
Hearing his mother’s answer, Klaas became angry and upset, he went into his room while frowning. “I hate my mother. You can’t even eat cheese, huh … bad mother,” complained Klaas annoyed. After a long time getting angry and grumbling, finally Klaas laid his body on the bed. “I better just sleep, hopefully I will later dream of eating good cheese … and lots of it. After putting his head on the pillow Klaas was fast asleep.
At midnight Klaas woke up. He saw the light in the window. He opened the window, he saw thousands of little fairies flying. One of the fairies then approached Klaas and said, “Hey Klaas, come with us! We have a lot of delicious cheese! “Hearing the word cheese, Klaas became excited,” What ?? Cheese?? Wow, I want it … I want it … I really like cheese, okay, the fairies, wait for me to come with you guys. “Klaas immediately left the house and joined the fairies.
Klaas arrived at the house of the fairies. “Sit quietly and wait a moment, we will bring you a lot of cheese,” said the fairy. Klaas then sat on a chair and he thought to himself, “Wow, this is good. The fairies will give me a lot of cheese, I’ll finish them, I’m already very hungry.”
Then not long after, the fairies came with cheese and threw it at Klaas. “This is Klaas, please eat this cheese and enjoy it,” the fairy said. Klaas immediately catches the cheese and eats it with gusto.
Klaas was very happy because he got a lot of cheese. He continued to eat the cheeses the fairies gave him. But, the fairies were constantly throwing cheese so the cheese began to pile up. Over time Klaas’s stomach was full he could not eat cheese anymore. But, the fairies did not stop throwing cheese. “Already… Already, I’m full, please stop throwing me with cheese … my stomach doesn’t fit anymore with cheese,” Klass pleaded. But the fairies ignored, they did not stop and continued to throw cheese at Klaas until Klaas’s body was buried in cheese, only his head was sticking out between the cheeses.
Suddenly Klaas saw a swarm of fairies carrying enormous cheese, they wanted to throw it at Klaas. “Don’t, don’t … don’t throw the big cheese at me, then my head can be buried in cheese,” Klaas said.
Again the fairies ignored it and immediately threw the large cheese towards Klaas. “Don’t !!! … Aaaa !!!,” Klaas shouted. Bruak !!! Klaas fell from his room and he woke up. He was sweating cold and frightened from having bad dreams.
Hearing something from Klaas’s room, his mother immediately entered. “What’s wrong Klaas, are you alright,” his mother asked. Klaas cried and hugged his mother. Then he told the nightmare to his mother. And since that incident, Klaas has not been greedy anymore. Mother was happy to see the changes in Klaas.
