Burung Beo Yang Suka Meniru

Burung Beo Yang Suka Meniru

Pipi Bigo Beo memerah. Rupanya maksudnya bukan menirukan pelayan. Tetapi tak apa. Bigo Beo suka meniru hewan lain.

Pesan Moral :

Meniru perbuatan orang lain tanpa tahu maksudnya berarti membodohi diri sendiri.

An Imitating Parrot

Bigo, Parrots will attend a Kakapo celebration in New Zealand. This has been eagerly awaited by him for a long time. But, he did not know how to respect the animals there. In fact, this event is very large, and will be attended by many guests. Bigo Beo is afraid he will do something stupid and embarrass himself.

When he arrived in New Zealand, Bigo Beo tried to ask everyone who was there. He asked what the party would be like. All who were asked said that they only had to do what was ordered by the Kakapo waiter who was in charge of hosting the event.

“Oho! Apparently I just need to mimic what the servants are doing,” said Bigo Beo.

Olala! Bigo Beo really mimicked everything that was done by the waiter. Starting from the way he walked to the way to pay respect to other guests, he also imitated every word of the waiter. All guests don’t pay much attention to Bigo Beo. Until one day, Kakapo saw Bigo Beo imitating a servant’s conversation. Kakapo was shocked, then immediately called Bigo Beo.

“What are you doing there?” Asked Kakapo. “Why do you copy maids?”

“Well, isn’t that a way of respecting other guests? Someone told me that I had to do what your servant said. So I imitated it, didn’t I?” Bigo Beo asked back.

Kakapo burst out laughing. “You’re mistaken, Bigo! That means that in the middle of the program there will be a master of ceremonies that organizes this event. But that doesn’t mean you have to imitate it. Besides, the way the guests here respect other guests is almost the same as your place.”

Bigo Beo’s cheeks turned red. Apparently the intention is not imitating servants. But never mind. Bigo Parrots like to imitate other animals. Even though it turned out he had finally embarrassed himself as he had feared earlier.

Moral message :

Mimicking the actions of others without knowing what it means is fooling yourself.
