Kakek Katak Bercerita

Kakek Katak Bercerita

Setiap sore, Kakek Katak Bercerita. Kakek Katak bercerita tentang kehebatannya bertualang dan mengalahkan hewan-hewan buas.

“Eh, apakah kalian pernah mengalahkan ular ladang?” tanya Kakek

“Apa, mengalahkan ular?

Grandfather Frog Tells Stories

In a swamp, there lived an old frog. He lives in a weathered log on the edge of a swamp. Everyone who lived there called him a frog grandfather. Every afternoon, Grandpa Frog Tells Stories. Grandfather Frog tells about his greatness in adventure and defeating wild animals.

“Eh, have you guys ever defeated a field snake?” Grandfather asked

“What, defeating snakes? That’s impossible! In fact snakes that eat frogs!” said the young mouse.

“Hahaha … it’s because you don’t dare to fight and are easily scared,” said Grandfather Frog arrogant. “For your information, children. Many snakes have died.”

The young frogs were amazed. Praise them, “Wow, that’s great! You’re so great, Grandpa Frog!”

Grandpa Frog’s story about snakes doesn’t stop. Grandfather Frog increasingly boasted. The little frogs became even more amazed. The frogs did not realize that a snake was watching them from behind a bush. The snake hissed and glared at the frogs.

Once the snake approached, the young frogs quickly ran away and hid. Meanwhile, Grandfather Frog just paused in fear. His frail legs can’t jump far. Snake approached him. “You’re a frog that can defeat snakes, right?” he asked furiously.

“Yes … yes! Du … I used to be able to do it,” said Grandfather Frog, stuttering.

“What about now? Are your feet not strong enough to hit me?” the snake asked, grinning.

Grandfather Frog did not answer.

“Now fight snakes as you often tell. Am I one of the snakes you can defeat?” Snake looked hard at Grandpa Frog.

Grandfather Frog increasingly frightened, he quickly ran away from the snake. Snake immediately chased Grandpa Frog. But, Grandpa Frog can hide in marsh mud, and snakes can’t find him. Since then, the frogs have never heard of a frog grandfather who loves to tell stories.

Moral message :

Don’t be like a frog grandfather who is arrogant and likes to lie. Sooner or later, lies will surely be revealed.
